I must have been oblivious to the goodness of my undeserved friends.
The support of my friends and family has been overwhelming. There have been many, many people that have contacted me or my family just to see how things are going and to remind us that they are praying. Just one example of many is my co-workers and ambulance crew at home. They have been there for me through everything, even when I have, in a way, abandon them during recovery. They make it possible to be able to go back to what was previously home. Without everything they have done for me, I wouldn't be able to go back to our old apartment because it would hurt too much. And there are many others like them. People's prayers and encouragement (including my immediate family) has been the only thing that has kept me going. When something like this happens, I suppose it is easy to ask God why. However, in this case, God has been there with me and has bestowed His grace in abundant amounts. There are still very tough times, but I know that God is taking good care of Miranda (better than I could) and there must be a reason that He left me here for a little while. Sometimes I wish there wasn't a reason so I could still be with Miranda, but God's wisdom and authority is greater than my own, so all that is left is to be an obedient servant.
